a happy new year!!!

2011 has been a very busy year for corgi rescue.  

as of now, we have brought in 56 dogs for the year and adopted out 38 corgis and corgi mixes.

we have had many happy moments and some sad moments too.

we lost a few of our alumni and fosters due to illness and old age.  we will miss them but always remember them.  each was very special to us, but they are now at the rainbow bridge happy and running and playing again!!

we have had some major medical issues to work with this year.

rider, who has cancer, is doing wonderful!!  didn't think he would be with us as christmastime, but as I write this, he is laying right next to me feeling great!!

speedy lost his leg but not his spirit!!  he is recuperating wonderfully and soon will be ready for his new furever home!

so many great corgis have come to us in 2011.  love everyone of those bunnybutts!!

thank you to all who have opened their hearts and homes to one or more of our corgis.

thank you to all my foster families, without you we wouldn't be able to do what we do!!

thank you to all volunteers who help out with administration, helping at events, doing homevisits and anything else we ask of you!!

thank you to all who have donated through the year to hep us continue to do what we do for the corgis!!

and thank you to all who have or will give one of our corgis a second chance!!
